SALARY: $25 per hour

SHIFT:

  • Internship Duration: Start as soon as possible - August 2025.
  • Applicants need to be open to the idea of working part time once the full-time internship has concluded.
  • Shifts are 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM, 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM, and 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM.
  • Shifts can fluctuate with project needs during internship.?

ROLE SUMMARY:

We believe in learning by doing. Our intern programs are crafted to fast-track the careers of future leaders and change makers, allowing university students to develop industry skills and get exposure to different roles and challenges. We value curious and ambitious people who are open and willing to embrace opportunities at the Los Angeles Brewery.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Promote, recognize and enforce safe working practices.
  • Execute capital projects including daily contractor management, adherence to established technical standards and quality of work.
  • Generate high quality daily construction and startup reports.
  • Develop and obtain authorizations from all affected groups prior to any disruptive work
  • Main point of contact for the contractor and brewery departments during project execution.
  • Frequent In-Person communication with operators and managers to provide progress reports and forward looking activities.
  • Continuously demonstrate an extreme sense of ownership over assigned tasks to delivery top-quality and time-bound results.
  • Great opportunity to learn in industrial manufacturing, project management, project development, adapting to field team leadership, with a focus on delivering results.
  • Firsthand experience in managing complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
    • Assist managers in identifying areas to improve operations and exceed expected results
    • Assist with Capital Project documentation including idea generation and scope development.
    • Be a part of a fun, dynamic, and diverse work team to accomplish goals.
    • Get exposure to senior leaders via final formal presentation.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Pursuing bachelor’s degree in STEM, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering.
  • Must be a Junior or Senior with a GPA of 2.8 or higher.
  • Only seeking candidates in the Greater LA Area.
  • Great interpersonal skills and team orientation.
  • Self-starter, highly inquisitive and detail oriented.
  • Ambition for technical and problem-solving skills.
  • Leadership skills, communication skills, and change management skills.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays on an as needed basis.
