SALARY: $52,000-$61,750, bonus eligible

ROLE SUMMARY:

The primary role of the Coordinator, Legal and Corporate Affairs is to provide operational support to our U.S. State Government Affairs team – reporting to the Director, Legal & Corporate Affairs Operations. Routine responsibilities will include important tactical work including processing contribution requests and assisting in managing team budgets, as well as ad hoc projects. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. This role is an exciting opportunity to work with talented and knowledgeable government affairs, communications, and legal professionals, and provides excellent growth opportunities for a high performer with a positive attitude. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process political, charitable and sponsorship requests, including all required internal and external compliance verification and approvals
  • Compose, prepare, and disburse cover letters and checks with, required letters of compliance
  • Research inquiries into billing issues and problems
  • Manage, track, and execute vendor payments, including but not limited to vendor set-up, vendor maintenance, and payments
  • Manage, track, and execute requests for product and promotional items
  • Track and monitor budgets, investigating variances, and updating financial forecasts
  • Assist with preparation and maintenance of contracts for external consultants and vendors
  • General office management duties that include purchasing supplies, maintaining files and generally making sure things run smoothly

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree preferred; some college required
  • Minimum 3 years experience
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Power Point; SAP a plus
  • Basic accounting exposure and experience
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines, set priorities and multitask with excellent organizational skills and follow-up
  • Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and desire to work in team environment
