SALARY: $90,000-$120,000 and will be based on previous experience.
Average total earning potential $130k to more than $170k, inclusive of overtime, long term cash incentives, and annual bonus.
SHIFT: Willingness to work rotating shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as required and flexibility to be on call for process escalations.

ROLE SUMMARY:
The Anheuser-Busch St. Louis Brewery is seeking an experienced Process Controls/Automation Engineer to join our team at the flagship home of Budweiser! If you are interested in a hands-on, continuous improvement oriented, fast-paced role in a world class manufacturing environment then our Operations Process Engineer role is for you. Attending production meetings, creating and executing action plans to meet critical metrics, troubleshooting equipment concerns on the fly, developing relationships with technicians, influencing change, and growing technically and as a leader are all elements of this great opportunity.
Please note, this position requires prior experience working with electrical process control systems including PLCs and HMI software.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide Lead Technical Support for process control/automation related issues. This includes partnering with other departments to reach resolution.
- Develop, coach, and drive accountability of electrical and mechanical technicians in a union environment.
- Develop, monitor, and maintain critical control points to ensure excellent process and product quality.
- Lead process improvement initiatives and organizational change to increase operational efficiencies.
- Work with multi-functional teams to solve and resolve quality problems and identify systems issues.
- Develop ways to improve equipment designs, upgrades, and line efficiencies.
- Ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are being executed.
- Establish standards and manage process control utilizing lean management (VPO) methodology.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
- Looking for a candidate with several years of process control programming/troubleshooting experience, preference for packaging specific experience.
- Understanding and experience with process control sequencer operation is preferred.
- Well-developed cross-functional problem solving & multi-tasking abilities, leads by example, acts as an owner, results oriented & strong customer focus skills; ability to lead change.
- Highly focused on results and providing a structured, systematic approach to delivering solutions
- Detail oriented, schedule driven and strong planning skills needed for handling multiple projects, experience in sustainable project execution.
- Ability to extract, evaluate and utilize data for process improvement from applicable systems
- Leadership skills, comfort level with change, and the ability to lead change.
- Solid interpersonal skills and team orientation.
