SALARY: $31.00 / hr

SHIFT: Varies / Full-Time

WORK LOCATION: San Diego, CA (Miramar)

ROLE SUMMARY:
The ES Coordinator will be responsible for assisting with all Cutwater Spirits environmental, health, and safety programs, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, standards, and requirements. The ES Coordinator will be relied upon to help establish a proactive safety environment and culture. In addition, this person will help with coordinating security efforts, working with contractors, and investigating safety and security issues.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist the EHS Manager in leading and implementing safety and environmental efforts.
  • Communicates safety requirements, updates, and alerts to all departments.
  • Leads new hire orientation and training as well as refresher trainings with all employees.
  • Coordinate with contractors to establish safety plans, manage contractor orientation and audit contractors to review compliance with applicable safety programs while onsite.
  • Assist with procedure development, review, and updating (JSAs, LOTOs, etc.).

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of related safety experience (beverage or manufacturing facility preferred).
  • Training experience and contractor management experience (preferred).
  • OSHA 10 HR or 30 HR certification (Preferred).
  • 3+ years’ distilling, brewing, or packaging experience.
  • Prior leadership experience (preferred).
